The Shrewsbury Town Official Supporters’ Club (OSC) has a proud history of serving our fanbase, supporting the club, and helping bring supporters together over many decades. As we move into a new chapter and our 75th Anniversary year, we are pleased to announce the appointment of long-time Town Fan Chris Allen as our new Chair.
We would like to sincerely thank Rob Lewis and Rachael Dilloway for their hard work in leading the OSC over the last few years, their dedication has been greatly appreciated by the club and our supporters, and we are pleased to say that Rob is continuing as Vice Chair and Communications officer, and Rachael as Club Secretary & Membership Officer.
It was at the recent AGM we agreed to change the focus of the OSC and end the running of our own supporter buses. Instead, we will work more closely with the Away Travel Club, who also act in the best interests of Shrewsbury Town. We believe that by avoiding competition and instead collaborating, we can better serve our shared goal of supporting the team.
The OSC will now restructure to focus on fan-led projects and initiatives that give the fans a greater voice. We will also be formalising our structure to ensure the OSC provides an additional, clear voice within the Supporters’ Parliament.
In the coming weeks, we will hold an open meeting to discuss the new direction of the OSC and hear directly from fans about how they want this group to move forward. This will be a fan-led
organisation, one that celebrates our history while working together to help improve our club in the years ahead.
One main goal for this year, as part of our new focus, will be to establish the OSC as an umbrella
organisation, bringing together Town fans from all over the world and establish regional branches or special interest groups. Look out for more detail soon on how you can get involved if you are
interested in helping out with this and running a OSC branch.
As mentioned, the OSC was established in 1950 so this is our 75th anniversary season, so we would also like to invite all fans to become members, limited edition 75th anniversary replica heritage badge and sign up at www.shrewsburytownosc.org
