It’s an exciting time for the Shrewsbury Town Official Supporters’ Club.
Over the past year, we’ve been putting some important foundations in place – introducing a new constitution, bringing fresh ideas onto the committee and making sure the OSC is on a stable financial footing. Now we’re ready for the next stage.
At the heart of that is our new membership scheme. e-Membership is completely FREE and open to every Shrewsbury Town supporter, wherever you are. We also have an optional £10 Full Membership for supporters who want to contribute a little more and receive some additional benefits – including our new limited-edition retro OSC badge.
But this is about much more than simply changing our membership scheme.
We want to redefine what the OSC can be for today’s Shrewsbury Town supporter. Historically, supporters’ clubs were often associated primarily with organising away travel. While travel will always be part of our history, our focus now is much broader: bringing Salop supporters together and helping them feel connected to their club and to each other.
That means developing regional groups for supporters who live away from Shrewsbury, organising watch-alongs as more games become available on TV, supporting fan-led initiatives at the stadium, developing relationships with local businesses and creating more opportunities for supporters to meet, contribute and get involved.
And whether you attend every game, get to the Meadow occasionally, follow Salop from elsewhere in the UK or support the club from the other side of the world, we want there to be a place for you in the OSC.

There’s another message that is particularly important to us.
Despite the word “Official” in our name, the OSC is proudly independent and fan-led.
We want to have a positive and constructive relationship with Shrewsbury Town Football Club and support the club wherever we can. That includes practical support for projects that benefit supporters – such as our contribution towards the Fan Zone roof.
But supporting the club doesn’t mean always agreeing with it.
Where we believe supporters have legitimate concerns, we will listen and make sure those views are heard. We’ve demonstrated that already, including raising our concerns about the decision to stop producing the matchday programme.
We believe we can be both supportive of the club and an independent voice for its supporters. In fact, we think a strong relationship between the club and an independent, representative supporters’ organisation benefits everyone.
There are lots of ideas we want to develop over the coming year, but ultimately the aim is very simple: bring Salopians together, give supporters a stronger voice and help make supporting Shrewsbury Town an even better experience.
And the more supporters who get involved, the more we can achieve.
So please join us. e-Membership costs absolutely nothing, and by becoming a member you’ll help us build a bigger, stronger and more representative Official Supporters’ Club.
