Barry's Funeral

The OSC, SP, and Shrewsbury Town SLO have been provided with the details of Barry Davies's funeral and asked to share them with his friends and fellow supporters as follows, at the request of his daughter.

The service will take place on Wednesday, 2nd July 2025, with the service held at Crowmoor Baptist Church, Crowmere Road, Shrewsbury SY2 5JJ at 12.30pm.

Thereafter, Barry and the funeral cortège will briefly visit Shrewsbury Town FC, Croud Meadow, Oteley Road, Shrewsbury SY2 6ST before attending the Crematorium at 2pm for his committal.

Thereafter, refreshments will be provided back at Crowmoor Baptist Church.

The family ask if you could please wear Shrewsbury Town shirts or colours as Barry did not want black.

Family flowers only, any donations will be shared between Dogs Trust and Severn Hospice, with the OSC running an online collection for anyone unable to attend.
