Shrewsbury Town Football Club parted ways this week with Michael Appleton after just over a 10 months in the job with his record, let’s just say it was poor.

Relegation from Sky Bet League One is not something we can blame him for as we were so far adrift from safety that it was unrealistic to think he could get us to survive…he is not a miracle worker like Scotty or is should we say Skitty?

Now, in Sky Bet League Two and just above the drop-zone to non-league again, a place we have been before and wish not to return, can Gavin with Dave as his number one save us from the drop and lead us back up the league?

Time will tell.
